Position Overview: We are seeking fulltime passionate and dedicated qualified Educators to join our team and positive work culture. Montessori experience is highly desirable or the desire to train is essential. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Montessori principles and practices, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting the team around them.

Role Responsibilities:

• Implementing Montessori curriculum and pedagogy tailored to the developmental needs of children.
• Creating a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment that encourages independence and exploration.
• Observing and assessing children’s progress and development, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support the holistic growth of each child.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

About You:

• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Montessori training or certification preferred and highly desirable.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Available to work Monday to Friday (Full-time)
• Passionate about implementing Montessori early learning approach
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
• Strong understanding of the importance of family communications

The Pocket Early Education and Care centre located in St Lucia.

Nestled within the pocket of St Lucia we provide environments rich in exploration and comfort for each child by offering a place of support, curiosity, diversity and fun. Opened in July 2020, The Pocket centre caters for 148 children from 6 weeks to school age.
