Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Montessori training for 3-6 or 6-12 age groups? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team at Canberra Montessori School. As a Montessori Trained Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Position: Montessori Trained Teacher

Age Groups: 3-6 and 6-12

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Curriculum Implementation: 

Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans that foster holistic development in students.

2.Classroom Management:

 Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and collaboration among students.

3.Individualized Instruction:

 Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each child, promoting a love for learning.

4.Observation and Assessment:

Conduct regular observations and assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.

5.Parental Communication:

Maintain open and transparent communication with parents, providing updates on students' academic and social development.

6. Professional Development:

Stay abreast of Montessori education best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education
• IELTS Band Score 7
• Montessori training for either 3-6 or 6-12 age groups
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience

Please note the applicant should be eligible for TQI registration ACT. 

Salary Range:

Competitive annual salary between $86,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
